DPS TRAILER 032 LOWBOY TRIAXLE 1/14

This trailer is a mechanical work of art, there is no other way to describe it. The design and workmanship get a 10/10 for me. The function of the powered goose neck get a 10/10 as well. The paint gets a 8.5/10 simply because mine had a bit of red/pink over spray mist on one side of the trailer. It was probably painted next to a red one. Not a big deal, just a bit of a bummer because the overall paint quality is actually quite good, and well worth what I paid to have it painted. The wood deck is very nice and has some nicely engraved details that make the single piece of wood look more like planks. My sideboards do no fit well, they are just a bit too wide to fit on the support brackets, but I will trim them down, no big deal if you have a laser, or a table saw, but it could be a pain if you don't. If I had to criticize one thing it would be the rubber mudflaps. They are cut with a very odd scalloped edge and it makes no sense to me. Granted it is an easy fix, and a very very small gripe, but I just don't understand it. I am glad that something so easy to fix is my biggest dislike. The overall assembly was pretty straight forward although integrating the electronics into my truck will take a bit more doing but I think in the end the function of the electric neck will be unmatched. It has details everywhere and is literally 90 pct metal, perfectly laser cut and expertly assembled. The included wheels and tires are spot on and look great. The packaging was also very impressive. The trailer was shrink wrapped to protect it, then placed inside of custom cut foam very nicely and then surrounded by a welded metal skeleton before being placed in the box. Overall form order time to delivery in the USA was right at 3 weeks, and I was very happy with the communication throughout. I even got some pictures on FB messenger once it was painted which was really neat. I will not hesitate to return for more big boy toys. I am now regretting the fact that I didn't order a flip axle and I will be doing that next, and I am sure this wont be the last trailer I buy from DPS. Overall my whole experience was a 9.5/10, almost perfect, and I am very happy that I ordered it.
